Vitamin D Might Be Edging Out HGH

But according to researchers from the University of North Carolina, one common vitamin could help your athletic performance, and it’s one you might not think of: vitamin D. Vitamin D is thought to be primarily involved in bone development, but a growing body of research suggests it is vital in many different bodily functions, including allowing muscle fibers to develop and grow normally. The immune system also is very dependent on vitamin D. This information is relatively new, but studies are now being conducted to take a closer look.
