June 11, 2008 | Leave a Comment
Ordinary people like you and I don’t have money to burn on HGH injections. Not only that, but we would have to be diagnosed with ”low” HGH levels to legally obtain the stuff. What can we add to our fitness and nutrition regimen that will give us similiar results? Below is what Dr. Michelle Bosten has to say about the HGH product she uses and recommends to her patients:
“The Maximum Result HGH Complex cutting edge formula is unequaled by any natural product I have ever seen. Most importantly to me, it changes patient’s lives. They are losing weight, getting stronger and sleeping better. They also tell me that they have more energy, increased sex drive and performance, and their skin looks more youthful. Bottom line, it makes you look and feel healthier and younger. This is and will be the only anti-aging product in my practice. You will not find a better product.”

Do pro athletes cross the line when they use HGH for performance enhancement?
Human Growth Hormone (HGH) is a substance that has become the latest rage, as until recently it was not a banned substance in every professional league. HGH has well-documented benefits to help injuries heal, to restore youthfulness to aging people, and can help muscles gain in size. The HGH t taken by some of the major league stars was, at the time, not a banned substance by Major League Baseball and, if taken under the care of a physician, was perfectly legal. It may have been prescribed to help an athlete recover from an injury.
The cloudiness occurred when players saw that they could make performance gains with HGH, and chose to take it for non-injury purposes.

HGH can be beneficial to those suffering from severe burns. We found this HGH article at Meds.com.
According to David Herndon, MD, of Galveston Shriners Burn Center, recombinant human growth hormone (HGH) ameliorates the hypermetabolic state that follows severe burn injury by improving protein balance. It also accelerates wound and donor site healing and enhances collagen production.

HGH & Aging

What is aging, and how can HGH help?
Aging is the result of cumulative cellular damage that begins to occur from the moment of conception. As you reach physical and sexual maturity, the cumulative rate of damage increases in speed and intensity. The longer you wait to attack your rate of aging the harder it is to get it under control and the harder it is to reverse its effects.

HGH: Fountain Of Youth?
March 25, 2008 | Leave a Comment
Is there really a “fountain of youth”? Some believe there is… with HGH.
HGH is Human Growth Hormone. It’s produced naturally in your body, but amounts decrease as you get older. In fact, supplementing your body’s HGH levels can even help reverse the effects of aging.
Human Growth Hormone is known as the Master Hormone or the “Hormone of Youth”. It controls the release of many other hormones in the body and is made by the pituitary gland in the center of the brain. During childhood, HGH directs the growth of the body. In adults, HGH begins to decline steeply with age. This decline is associated with many of the effects of aging. Hundreds of studies have been done on the use of HGH in adults. It has been found to raise energy levels, enhance lean muscle, decrease body fat, strengthen the heart, improve cholesterol, fortify bones, smooth out wrinkles, sharpen memory, improve sexual function, regenerate damaged tissues, boost the immune system, and improve sleep.
HGH comes in many forms, the most potent being an injection given by authorized medical professionals. This is quite expensive however, and there are many alternative forms of HGH available on the market today.

Anti-Aging Doctor, Age 67, Uses HGH
March 19, 2008 | Leave a Comment
60 Minutes reporter Steve Kroft interviewed anti-aging physician Alan Mintz who uses and prescribes HGH:
(CBS) Dr. Alan Mintz, 67, says he feels great. He should. He’s a leading doctor in the new multi-billion-dollar field known as anti-aging medicine. But besides good diet and exercise, Dr. Mintz and a number of his patients take small doses of human growth hormone (HGH) - a drug whose distribution or marketing for anti-aging uses is illegal, according to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
Dr. Mintz says his practice is entirely legal because he only prescribes for patients who are deficient in that hormone (HGH).
Mintz says taking HGH and other hormones, such as testosterone, build muscle mass, reduce fat and fight osteoporosis. That’s because they replenish those same compounds that are produced by the human body but diminish with age. They also promote a good sex life, mental acuity and increase energy, he says.
“This is not about the fountain of youth … It’s about staying in charge of my life and being productive,” says Mintz, who says his patients include movie stars, CEOs and the president of a foreign country.
“People are looking to feel better,” Mintz tells Kroft. “They’re tired of hearing, ‘I’m getting old. There’s nothing you can do. Just live with it.’ “

HGH:Legal For Some, Illegal For Others
March 18, 2008 | Leave a Comment
HGH is FDA approved to treat specific medical conditions. However, more recently it is being used for muscle building, increasing strength, and for antiaging purposes:
Human growth hormone (HGH) is a naturally occurring polypeptide hormone secreted by the pituitary gland and is essential for body growth. Daily secretion of HGH increases throughout childhood, peaking during adolescence, and steadily declining thereafter. In 1985, synthetic HGH was developed and approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for specific uses. However, it is commonly abused by athletes, bodybuilders, and aging adults for its ability increase muscle mass and decrease body fat, as well as its purported potential to improve athletic performance and reverse the effects of aging.

HGH Is Used to Ease Effects Of Disease
February 26, 2008 | Leave a Comment
HGH can help ease the effects of many suffering from disease and injury.
HGH helps people whose bodies are under stress or wasting because of the effects of AIDS (Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome), burns, or traumatic injuries. In AIDS, the wasting syndrome is characterized by significant, unintended weight loss. If you have AIDS and have lost a lot of weight, HGH may help you gain weight. If you add a regimen of resistance exercise (weightbearing workouts), you can accumulate more muscle. Another study showed that after a trauma (severe injury), HGH along with adequate daily nutrition helped to enhance metabolism.
