One company may lose its HGH patent…

Some of the biggest-selling biologics developed during the boom years in biotech of the 1980’s, including human growth hormone (HGH) and insulin, have lost patent protection in the U.S. in 2007 or will shortly, and they represent a market of $40 billion. This opens up a huge potential market for biosimilars, if regulatory hurdles can be overcome, according to a new report by Kalorama Information, Biogenerics: the World Market for Biosimilars.

Prolor Biotech obtained a nonexclusive license to The University of Queensland’s (UQ) human growth hormone (HGH) receptor cell line. It will help the company expedite development and manufacturing of its long-acting version of HGH, comments Shai Novik, president of Prolor Biotech.

“Not only can the cell line measure the hormone’s potency, but it can also be used to detect neutralizing antibodies directed against HGH,” Novik points out. The UQ cell line will also result in significant cost savings, provide more reliable and consistent results compared to current techniques, and does not require animals for testing, the company continues.

Current manufacturers of human growth hormone assay for potency by using hypophysectomized rodents. HGH is then administered to the animals and the potency determined by measuring their weight gain and length of femur. This assay is not only extremely expensive but also produces inconsistent results, according to Prolor Biotech.

 Needle free HGH coming soon:

Antares Pharma, Inc. (Amex: AIS), a Ewing-based specialty pharmaceutical company focused on drug delivery, and its partner Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. (Nasdaq: TEVA) of North Wales, Pa., announced today that they have sought regulatory approval to administer their human-growth hormone (HGH) with needle-free injections.

Human-growth hormone (HGH) is commonly used to treat children of pathologically short stature, according to the companies. Pediatric patients and their parents that assist in administering such drugs can benefit from the “elimination of needles and disposal of contaminated sharps,” they said.

Antares and Teva filed a “supplemental New Drug Application” with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for labeling changes to reflect the needle-free injection route after conducting 18 months of clinical tests and studies, they stated. They said that, according to industry estimates, the size of the U.S. market for human-growth hormones (HGH) is about $1 billion.

HGH may be obtained from your doctor, online sources, or antiaging clinics:

Nobody knows exactly how many people have received treatments at antiaging clinics, though the number is probably in the millions. And I’m not going to name any, because I really don’t want to give them publicity. But we know how they work: A doctor typically gives you nutritional advice, various supplements and prescriptions, sometimes for human growth hormone (HGH), sometimes for testosterone or another steroid. A compounding pharmacy mixes the ingredients to create your treatment. And you pay handsomely for the privilege of going anabolic without having to buy HGH at the gym, guess your dosage or inject yourself. The prices charged by antiaging clinics vary, but expect to spend several thousand dollars for an initial assessment, then several hundred dollars per monthly visit.

Why spend that kind of money and STILL have to worry about potential side effects? Click here to read about the top selling, 100% safe and legal HGH product.

A family doctor faked growth hormone prescriptions for her son because she feared that he would be bullied at school over his height, a disciplinary panel has heard.

Dr Rehab Al Jumaily, 51, was worried that her 13-year-old would be picked on if he ended up as diminutive as the rest of his family even though he was normal height for his age.

Al Jumaily could be struck off the medical register, suspended or cautioned by the General Medical Council.

She falsified the prescriptions for the growth hormone(hgh), despite her 5ft 2in youngster, who cannot be named for legal reasons, having been the subject of only one reported bullying incident at school.

HGH can be beneficial to looking and feeling better. But it also starts with good nutrition and exercise. Let’s look at nutrition:

A lot of people immediately think of weight loss when they hear the word nutrition. But that is not always necessarily the case. Proper nutrition means eating in a way that maximizes strength, health, and energy. It can also help you lose weight if you need to do so. In addition, proper
nutrition enhances the quality and youthfulness of hair, skin, nails, and can even help make your sleep more beneficial.

HGH can provide benefits like better mental focus and clarity, better sleep, more energy, relief from aches and pains, and increased strength and stamina. The top selling HGH product on the market today also comes with a money back guarantee! But don’t just take our word for it. Read what a doctor has to say about this all natural HGH spray.

Randy Wakefield knows firsthand about the benefits AND the dangers of HGH:

As a child, Wakefield, now 42, was diagnosed as a hypopituitary dwarf and given human growth hormone (HGH) injections to help him grow. At that time, during the 1960s and 1970s, HGH was naturally derived — that is, it was made by processing pituitary glands taken from cadavers.

Wakefield and the others grew taller, but in 1985 the experiment was found to have a fatal flaw. Three HGH recipients contracted a rare neurological illness called Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease (CJD), otherwise known as the human equivalent of “mad cow” disease.

Wakefield has so far dodged the CJD bullet, but he has been plagued with myriad health problems, including chronic depression and obesity.

His life began turning around last September, when Wakefield began receiving daily injections of an unlikely new treatment, which helped him lose approximately 60 pounds and find the energy to go out and look for a job. The treatment? A new, synthetic version of human growth hormone (HGH).

Wakefield thus finds himself in the peculiar position of taking the synthetic version of the very thing that has caused him so much grief.

Go lay down and let your HGH increase…for real! Take a look:

…HGH is very expensive and requires daily injections. A so-called anti-aging dosage for a year can cost up to $20,000, Melmed says.

But there is one easy, cheap and exceedingly healthy way to boost your HGH levels: go to bed. “Growth hormone and testosterone production peak during sleep,” says Richard Auchus, a professor of endocrinology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas.

“You can actually get people to test pathologically low for growth hormone by waking them repeatedly during the night,” he says. “I always tell people that if you want to maximize your growth hormone (HGH), get a good night’s sleep.”
