May 6, 2008 | Leave a Comment
There has been a recent development in the BALCO drug sting:
Two sprinters banned as part of the BALCO scandal cannot testify against Trevor Graham, the Olympic coach awaiting trial on charges of lying to federal agents about his role in distributing steroids.
At a hearing Tuesday in U.S. District Court in San Francisco, Judge Susan Illston struck Michelle Collins, former indoor world champion at 200 meters, and Calvin Harrison, gold medalist in the 4×400-meter relay at the 2000 Olympic Games, from the government’s witness list.
According to court records, Collins was ready to testify that while she was coached by Graham he provided her with the banned blood-doping product EPO. Harrison was set to testify that Graham provided him with human growth hormone (HGH).
Steroids and HGH are not only banned by many sports, they may have dangerous side effects. Click here to read about the top selling HGH product that is 100% safe and legal!
