HGH & Aging
March 31, 2008 | Leave a Comment
What is aging, and how can HGH help?Â
Aging is the result of cumulative cellular damage that begins to occur from the moment of conception. As you reach physical and sexual maturity, the cumulative rate of damage increases in speed and intensity. The longer you wait to attack your rate of aging the harder it is to get it under control and the harder it is to reverse its effects.

How Running Can Increase Your HGH Levels
March 28, 2008 | Leave a Comment
Read what Dr. Ronald Klatz says about how running can boost HGH production:
Two levels of running promote the release of growth hormone(HGH). The first is running as the quickest way ot lose fat and change your body composition in a more favorable direction. As you gain lean body mass, your body becomes more metabolically active and releases more growth hormone(HGH). The second level is running to the point where the activity itself is growth hormone-releasing. That requires a high level of conditioning. On either level, running or race-walking does great thingsfor the body.

One Man’s HGH Story As A Child And Now As An Adult
March 27, 2008 | Leave a Comment
Randy Wakefield knows firsthand about the benefits AND the dangers of HGH:
As a child, Wakefield, now 42, was diagnosed as a hypopituitary dwarf and given human growth hormone (HGH) injections to help him grow. At that time, during the 1960s and 1970s, HGH was naturally derived — that is, it was made by processing pituitary glands taken from cadavers.
Wakefield and the others grew taller, but in 1985 the experiment was found to have a fatal flaw. Three HGH recipients contracted a rare neurological illness called Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease (CJD), otherwise known as the human equivalent of “mad cow” disease.
Wakefield has so far dodged the CJD bullet, but he has been plagued with myriad health problems, including chronic depression and obesity.
His life began turning around last September, when Wakefield began receiving daily injections of an unlikely new treatment, which helped him lose approximately 60 pounds and find the energy to go out and look for a job. The treatment? A new, synthetic version of human growth hormone (HGH).
Wakefield thus finds himself in the peculiar position of taking the synthetic version of the very thing that has caused him so much grief.

Homeopathic HGH Products: Which One Is The Best?
March 26, 2008 | Leave a Comment
Some products claiming to be homeopathic may not be truly homeopathic!
The recognition that homeopathic HGH is the most effective way to naturally get HGH benefits has led some companies to say their HGH products are “homeopathic-like”, while others claim that they are “homeopathic” just because the formula contains small amounts of HGH.
The process of making a true, effective and safe homeopathic HGH product is very sensitive and scientific . The only way to be confident that the product you are using is in fact homeopathic and lives up to federal manufacturing processes is to verify several issues…
1.Is the product manufactured at a facility is registered with and subject to inspection by both the Food and Drug Administration and the State Department of Health?
2.Are the raw materials used subjected to identity and purity testing?
3.Is the formula tested according to procedures outlined in the German Homeopathic Pharmacopoeia (the international standard adopted by US manufacturers) once the mother tincture has been created?
4.Is the final product batch tested for purity before it leaves the facility?
If the company doesn’t mention these issues on their website, or worse, they are unfamiliar with them, would you want to put that product into your body?

HGH: Fountain Of Youth?
March 25, 2008 | Leave a Comment
Is there really a “fountain of youth”? Some believe there is… with HGH.
HGH is Human Growth Hormone. It’s produced naturally in your body, but amounts decrease as you get older. In fact, supplementing your body’s HGH levels can even help reverse the effects of aging.
Human Growth Hormone is known as the Master Hormone or the “Hormone of Youth”. It controls the release of many other hormones in the body and is made by the pituitary gland in the center of the brain. During childhood, HGH directs the growth of the body. In adults, HGH begins to decline steeply with age. This decline is associated with many of the effects of aging. Hundreds of studies have been done on the use of HGH in adults. It has been found to raise energy levels, enhance lean muscle, decrease body fat, strengthen the heart, improve cholesterol, fortify bones, smooth out wrinkles, sharpen memory, improve sexual function, regenerate damaged tissues, boost the immune system, and improve sleep.
HGH comes in many forms, the most potent being an injection given by authorized medical professionals. This is quite expensive however, and there are many alternative forms of HGH available on the market today.

HGH & Erectile Dysfunction
March 24, 2008 | Leave a Comment
How can HGH help with erectile dysfunction? Take a look:
The Massachussetts male aging study in a random sampling of 1,290 men , found that complete erectile dysfunction increased from 5% at age 40 to 15% at age 79, with difficulty in having erections experienced by 52% in the older age group. Is the decline in HGH and sexual performance a coincidence or is there a cause and effect relationship?
In the first clinical analysis of the effects of HGH therapy in 202 people including 172 men, fully three quarters of the participants said that they had an increase in sexual potency or frequency. And 62% of the men reported that they were able to maintain an erection for a longer period of time. Since the vast majority on growth hormone(HGH) therapy report an increase of sexual appetite and performance , it is strongly suspected that growth hormone plays a pivotal role in sexual health.

Steroids Giving HGH A Bad Rap
March 20, 2008 | Leave a Comment
HGH may be getting a bad rap because it is often linked to steroids:
Steroids are like apples, there are many types and they all have different effects on our body. First and foremost, the word “steroid” describes a certain chemical structure that is common for many, many different compounds. So there are dozens of chemicals (drugs, etc) that are steroids. All of our bodies make steroids naturally, we also all make Human Growth Hormone (HGH) which technically isn’t a steroid but we hear them all talked about together.

Anti-Aging Doctor, Age 67, Uses HGH
March 19, 2008 | Leave a Comment
60 Minutes reporter Steve Kroft interviewed anti-aging physician Alan Mintz who uses and prescribes HGH:
(CBS) Dr. Alan Mintz, 67, says he feels great. He should. He’s a leading doctor in the new multi-billion-dollar field known as anti-aging medicine. But besides good diet and exercise, Dr. Mintz and a number of his patients take small doses of human growth hormone (HGH)Â - a drug whose distribution or marketing for anti-aging uses is illegal, according to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
Dr. Mintz says his practice is entirely legal because he only prescribes for patients who are deficient in that hormone (HGH).
Mintz says taking HGH and other hormones, such as testosterone, build muscle mass, reduce fat and fight osteoporosis. That’s because they replenish those same compounds that are produced by the human body but diminish with age. They also promote a good sex life, mental acuity and increase energy, he says.
“This is not about the fountain of youth … It’s about staying in charge of my life and being productive,” says Mintz, who says his patients include movie stars, CEOs and the president of a foreign country.
“People are looking to feel better,” Mintz tells Kroft. “They’re tired of hearing, ‘I’m getting old. There’s nothing you can do. Just live with it.’ “

HGH:Legal For Some, Illegal For Others
March 18, 2008 | Leave a Comment
HGH is FDA approved to treat specific medical conditions. However, more recently it is being used for muscle building, increasing strength, and for antiaging purposes:
Human growth hormone (HGH) is a naturally occurring polypeptide hormone secreted by the pituitary gland and is essential for body growth. Daily secretion of HGH increases throughout childhood, peaking during adolescence, and steadily declining thereafter. In 1985, synthetic HGH was developed and approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for specific uses. However, it is commonly abused by athletes, bodybuilders, and aging adults for its ability increase muscle mass and decrease body fat, as well as its purported potential to improve athletic performance and reverse the effects of aging.
